Based on a series of rough sketches provided by Portuguese branding studio Brandia Central we produced Dusha, a typeface to be used by the Russia World Cup 2018. We had to build a unified, structured and complete typeface, with Latin and Cyrillic characters, despite the fact that most characters don’t share any geometric principles but pure visual relationships among them.
